CREATIVE MULTIMEDIA DEPARTMENT

The Department of Creative Multimedia is a dynamic department under the Faculty of Arts, Sustainability and Creative Industries (FSKIK), offering three main areas of study: Animation Design, Advertising Design, and Digital Game Design. Each specialization focuses on developing creative, technical, and aesthetic skills relevant to the current needs of the digital content industry.

Animation Design emphasizes the production of 2D, 3D, and hybrid animations through cinematic approaches, visual storytelling, and the use of technologies such as motion capture studios and industry-standard animation software.

Advertising Design focuses on visual strategy, digital campaigns, and creative media production, integrating elements of branding, visual marketing, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in content design.

Digital Game Design centers on the development of games based on user experience (UX/UI), interactive design, and immersive learning, covering virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and game narrative elements.

Supported by 23 highly qualified lecturers and 4 professional support staff, the department provides a comprehensive learning ecosystem that blends theory, hands-on practice, creativity, and technological innovation. Fully equipped facilities such as multimedia studios, high-tech computer labs, motion capture studios, and audiovisual recording studios strengthen the department’s project-based and collaborative learning approach.

Students also benefit from the implementation of the industry@campus program, which allows them to take courses with industry practitioners, participate in real-world projects, and undergo industrial training in an authentic ecosystem. Furthermore, aesthetic experience and immersive design elements are embedded in every program to produce graduates who are not only technically competent but also sensitive to artistic values, visual culture, and user experience.

The Department of Creative Multimedia is committed to producing professionals in the creative content field who are able to compete both nationally and globally, while contributing to the growth of the country’s digital media and arts industry.
