Brief of DescriptionKurita Water and Environment Foundation (KWEF) supports scientists of Asian nationality who are conducting research in their own countries with the following criteria.

1. Conditions required for Applicant

In advance of application, applicants are requested to understand conditions and obligations of grantee, which are described in “Letter of Acceptance (form#: KWEF-25RGA-F52)”

Additional requirement:
1) The applicant must reside in Malaysia.
2) The applicant must conduct research at university, college, or associated institute in Malaysia (except private sectors).
3) The applicant shall be a young academician under 40 years of age. For PhD candidates, an approval from Supervisor is required(note: a master student is not allowed to submit a proposal).

     When you can accept all the conditions and obligations in the LoA and the additional requirements, you are eligible to apply.
