Students are highly encouraged to participate in various activities and programs organized either by student society, faculty, university or others at any level. Each student’s involvement will be assessed and merit points will be given. Merit points will be recorded into the MyCAT system. In this faculty, a student’s achievement is not measured solely depended on his or her CGPA. Total of MyCAT merit points are also used to determine the student’s excellence in this faculty. A special transcript will be issued by UPSI upon graduation to each student that lists all extra-curricular activities of the student during his or her studies (only those that were recorded by the MyCAT system).
